Quick start for new interns

Play the demo, learn controls, build automation, chain combos, then check tier lists.

  1. 1

    Play the free demo

Install Project P.I.T.T. from Steam or itch.io and clock in for phase one. Feed rubber ducks to The Maw before you invent a twenty-device factory.

  2. 2

    Learn the controls

Master move, crouch, grab, throw, rotate, and snap placement. A calm hands-on minute near The Maw saves hours of jammed panels later.

  3. 3

    Build light automation

Start with a short path: spawn or drop, one directing tool, then the pit. Expand only after two untouched cycles succeed.

  4. 4

    Chain combos for profit

Keep feeds rhythmic so audio and payouts escalate. Recover from jams instead of force-spamming launches into concrete.

  5. 5

Check tier lists before big spends

Rank early upgrades and tools so Sticky panel help beats novelty toys. Revisit rankings when new products unlock.

Project P.I.T.T. FAQ

Quick answers about the demo, The Maw, and launch day.

A single-player physics automation sandbox by Froke, published by Pretty Soon. Craft products, feed The Maw, unlock tools, and turn messy physics into throughput inside a brutalist corporate facility.

When does the full game release?

August 19, 2026 on Steam. A free demo covering phase one is available now on Steam and itch.io for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Is Project P.I.T.T. multiplayer?

No. It is single-player only. Share build ideas with friends if you want, but every shift progresses on your machine alone.

This wiki supports: English, Français, Deutsch, Español. Configure locales in site.meta.json and run npm run generate:i18n.

How long is the demo versus the full game?
